ts your life. If you dont hang out with black people and dont have cadences/vocal tones of someone who is black, you will be looked at as a sellout or a lame until proven otherwise by people who probably arent going anywhere in life.

Just wanna say im not bitter, i dont believe in that shyt hence why i made this thread. but yea your right, what truly defines who you are besides genetics is your environment. I was raised in a real nice house with great parents, surrounded by white people who became my good friends. Just from this i never adopted that whole black personality thing, i didnt force myself into hanging with black kids because i never felt a need to. I just chill with people who are cool, just so happens most of them were white or people who "acted white". I think its cus im quiet that makes blacks think im not black, they interpret it as me not wanting to associate with them. Tbh i love hanging out with black ppl, we're funny as shyt overall, but i didnt have a personality that matched all that.

Feeling isolated from the brothas at your job because you feel you can relate more to the cacs is truely embarrassing. That that you have a choice i understand but you gotta feel a way about that knowing that the way you're acting now is essentially cutting you off from your people.

Nothing wrong with sending your kids to a white school but if you completely distant yourself from black culture, dont be surprised when black people cant relate to you. There are plenty of successful black people who stuck to their black roots.

lemme add that all my close white friends were cool with blacks too. My boy across the street thinks hes blacker than me cus he puts on a black woman voice an they tell him hes an honorary nikka.
