I don't have a problem with him making those speeches if he was actually doing something in particular to help these urban areas.

I know he can't do it all by himself but damn, wasn't he the congressman in Illnois?

You mean he can't do sh!t to help out in Chicago?

I just have a feeling 10 years from now my daughter who is 2 is gonna ask me "so what did the black president do to help black people?" and I'ma basically have the :mjpls:

So you want him to knock on doors and hand out welfare checks to you and your peeps? Do you know what his responsabilities are?

nikkas always looking for a fukking handout.

I'll ask the same question I usually ask in these threads. What do you want Obama to do to directly effect the black community?

How about spurring job creation in the hood and providing companies with tax incentives to relocate in majority poor black neigborhoods so that Boomqueisah doesn't have to get to Mickedees at 6am by catch 3 buses to earn minimum wage in the suburbs?

How about placing a greater emphasis on jobs rather than increasing welfare?

He talks to black people like this because most of us will still vote for him. If he told Hispanics to stop coming here illegally, stop smuggling drugs, stop getting knocked up at 10, it would be a wrap. If he told Jews to stop stealing trillions of dollars from investors and stop using the holocaust as a justification for illegal wars, it would be a wrap.

If black people were to split their vote or vote for a third party just once, he would respect us more.

Dey don't hea you doe. :whoo:

We weren't ready for a black prez and cats like you prove why. A black person shouldn't even try to be president because they won't be able to please our community. People want a Farrakhan type dude to be the first black president and put our community first. While it would be great but that's not something a president should do.

You asked, so you got an answer.

While I agree that Obama is everyone's President, he certainly did not say that when black folks lined up to give them 98% of their vote.

In short--yes, he owes US. No one backed him more than the black community and he didn't hesitate to take advantage of that.

Now if he can meet with the Hispanic community and pass all kinds of "DREAM ACTS" and go easy on illegal immigrants...then he can do somethin for a few nikkaz in his own back yard

just sayin

The margin of error is narrower for us. We have to be better than everyone else just to seem equal.

I see plenty of black people that are doing just fine. Hell, the majority of my closest friends are black and they're all employed and working toward a better tomorrow for themselves, enjoying the spoils of success.

If you're not doing that then sucks for you. Try harder to do better in life.

:yeshrug:

Oh, and by the way, fvck you if you think I have anything to do with you if you ain't sh!t. Why? Because I'm not and my life is negatively affected because people have this stupid idea that because I'm Black I'm like you.

So if u know plenty of succesful black people, don't deal with unsuccesful black people and don't care about those who ain't doin good, wtf is your angle in this thread?

*scrolls down further in your post*

:ohhh: becuz u want to seperate yourself from black people that MIGHT make u look bad only bcuz u believe everybodys as narrowminded as you....like I said if not coming from a place of concern but instead a place of contempt why the fuk are you here other than to let all the blck snobs and cacs know your one of the "good ones"? "I am not my people:damn:" is your motto but what's sad is people like you are the first to be worried about how the next black man reflects poorly on you lol....like I said if you don't wanna be grouped with all black people that's cool that's,that's respectable do you....but how about u stop runnin around talkin about "black people this and black people that" and take ya lone wolf azz on sumwhere.

And I realized be4 making this post,u the same nikka that kept Malcolm X might be gay for one reason after the other without proof in that other thread I believe...I thought u wuz sum poor young black male seeking knowledge on the situation actin all naive in shyt in that thread, thought u wuz misguided by the educational system of the u.s....after this I'm thinkin that wuz a c00n/cac tactic...pullin shyt out ur azz to slander a great black man on sum "y'all heard Malcolm wuz fukin Muhamed Ali back in the day:scheme:,don't know if its true but they wuz close y'all, think about it:scheme:"...what a decoy...hope u wuz sincere in believin that b/s and not sum cac troll runnin around here.

What you think about the article posted below, let me guess....it wasn't enough. He can't please noone. Who care he is risking his life to be the first black prez but he has to deal with people in his own community. I will bring it back to my point that he shouldn't even have run for president because ya'll want Malcolm X in the whitehouse. It's no surprise though, black folks live to kill and down eachother. Thats why when you go to black areas all the damn stores are korean, indian, and white owned. We don't support each other and always think about how someone could do more.

He helped blacks by reversing a quota system? :snoop:

If that's the case, pass credit to Richard Nixon for creating Affirmative Action in the first place

And who said anything about militants? The kid stepped up, and spoke up for Hispanics, illegals, Women, Gays...but had nothin but harsh words for nikkaz.

And to add insult to injury he didn't even show up at the NAACP gala lol...

If I remember correctly he even told blacks to stop whining, take off your bedroom slippers and start marching when he says so...
Im just sayin

98% of the black vote yet still the highlest unemployment rate smh

• Through the Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA), the Obama administration helped
African-American clients secure more than $929 million in contracts and financing in 2009 and $2.4
billion in 2010, that’s helped businesses create and save jobs for African Americans.
• When President Obama signed the Small Business Jobs Act of 2010 it put more capital into the hands
of minority-owned businesses, supporting more than $12 billion in small business lending.
• A 21 Percent share of Jobs Act loans went to minority-owned businesses, according to data from the
Small Business Administration.
• President Obama’s White House Business Council launched a series of Urban Entrepreneurship Forums
aimed at connecting local entrepreneurs to public and private resources to help them expand, grow and
create jobs.

:usure: Black people are less then 12% of the electorate. Even if ALL of us voted and ALL of us voted for him he would still need the majority of the white vote to get into office. So how were we the only ones who supported him?

Obama has always had a SUBLIMINAL way of letting the black voters know HE CANNOT FIX THE BLACK ECONOMY.

The Occupy movement let Obama know that if he is too pro-black the voters will turn on him.

Obama knows that in order to fix black economy struggles he has to fix all white women struggles before that, and white women are useless in this current US economy, but they dominate the democratic voting base so he has to cater to them for the sake of his party.

Breh, these dudes prolly ain't even black. You know how it is on here. A bunch of white folk, Hispanics, and mixed raced cats claiming to be black. They secretly hate black folk but use the fact they posting on a hip hop board to gain some kind of credibility.

Edit: Peep how a "so called" black person is wondering why we are so critical about slavery. http://www.the-coli.com/higher-learning/26017-why-do-we-always-say-we-were-slaves-400-years.html
