I def lawyer'd up. I was riding in a rental that had an engine that's a little bit more powerful than my normal car. Got my girl to write up a letter saying that I do community service for her non profit to make my character seem better. I have a clean driving record and no prior convictions. I got caught speeding through a racist county tho. They're about to throw the book at me.

I do 85-95 every single day. It’s not has unsafe has people make it seem, you just need to know your car limits and time to do so. Speed laws are enforced because many do not comprehend attempting to stop at 90 miles per hour is a lot more difficult than 55. New cars are too powerful for the road too.

Doubt anyone really cares but they reduced the charge to improper driving and hit me with a $500.00 fine. Just posting this just in case someone experiences something similar in the future.
