high all the time
bloodhound
backdown
pimp
wanksta

are all meh
high all the time - nah the feel of that track was amazing
bloodhound - I agree
backdown- what? How? The silly outro, sure I skip it then but how is backdown filler?
pimp - I agree
wanksta - Agreed but that was a bonus track

I would add poor lil rich as filler as well. Im also one of the few that was never big on If I cant

The world doesn't believe that

GRODT is a classic album
Massacre was fifty chasing for his next in da club big hit rather than just making a dope cohesive album.

Piggy bank was corny
Candy shop was very corny
Disco inferno guilty pleasure for me, but it's not a great track.
Gatman and Robin probably one of the worst 50 songs ever.

If anything it's the Massacre that's had several skippable songs.

Fair but In my Hood and Baltimore love thing is 50 at his best to me.

In the Stan wars era of sohh (2001-the end), MFers had RD in their top 3, Illmatic was getting hated on, no one was given The Infamous top 5 type of credit...

Now, RD isn't even better than GRODT :wow:

Wow. nikka just said Wanksta was “meh”. nikka were u around during that era? lol.

It was a huge song, but I probably haven't played it since 2003. Just bc it was widely popular at the time doesn't make it forever dope to me.

who puts backdown or wanksta in their top 10 rap disses of all time?

that shyt was only good at the time. I aint playing fukking "wanksta" in my car or house

at the time it was good but that shyt aged like milk

power of a dollar, 50 cent is future, guess who's back, gunit radio beginning, was all better

if you can look me dead in the face and play wanksta right now in 2024 and tell me its better than ski mask way, how to rob, etc
you can name a handful of songs on the same tape that were better

if we are talking how big the tape got for that one year, and not "a better album" then 50 wins
but none of reasonable doubt has aged terribly

Theres not many albums like GRODT. The impact was out of this world. If you weren't there you truly cant understand it. Theres probably not another album that gives me stronger nostalgia vibes. Having said that if we talking quality its RD by a comfortable margin.
This, imo, makes people (not saying you) overrate albums like The Blueprint & GRODT.

Not saying they're not great albums, but all time great, they are not

U know the crazy shyt about Reasonable Doubt? I used to listen to that shyt every single night at one point. That and Makaveli was my go to albums to bump at night for a period of time.

Get Rich has like 5 "2000 trend era" beats and flows. That sound trendy for the time but did not innovate anything over what Kool G Rap wrote and performed in 1995.
