depends on what type of risk and return u want.

there's plenty of high yield savings accounts that will provide u like 4.5-5% interest annually, so that would be around $400 a month passively to do nothing with zero risk.

Probably some bonds guaranteeing a healthy ROI and put the rest in a Roth IRA, you can see that money later. No guarantee of SS later. Keep ya money stable. Any returns you get on the bond, save some... take out a term life insurance policy on a close family member. Keep the lick goin'.
