One day I mentioned that to my mother's friend in an offhand comment and (I'm paraphrasing) she said something along the lines of "Wow, that's good for a black person!".

One of my aunts be on that "white people do *blank* better" B.S. talking about how "WW take better care of their bodies, that you see more BW lookin frumpy in public than you do them" o. Then another one pulled a "what about black on black crime" deflection when freddie gray went national.

I'm really surprised/glad that self loathing didn't rub off on me.

My mother is like your aunt and I have spoken about it on here numerous times. Shyt gets me heated and I have an 11 year old sister and I dont want her to be poisoned hearing that dumb shyt from her.

Every second she is shytting on Black people and not talking well about us at all..We aren't above criticism obviously nobody is saying that...but these older folks have that Bill Cosby mentality where they criticize us 24/7 and turn into church mouses when it comes to White folks or white supremacy in general.

I dont know about your aunt by mom in particular is obsessed with hispanics and constantly obsessed with talking about hard working they are and how Black people are not. You know whats funny about talk like that to me? they say shyt like that and its like they wish they were White or hispanic because how can you constantly shyt on your own race as if you aren't Black yourself...

and I dont know why this is but it seems like the older women in general are more like this...

I've heard quite a few. My aunt is corporate, married to a white guy. Her friends are the same. At this point i steer clear of them. Even when "subtle" they're the worst. More capes than the justice league for for instance the police. Wasn't even on my side when i got guns pulled on me for no reason. So, there was this guy (You call them high yellow or something ?) that I find really attractive. And the first thing I noticed about him was his huge fro, that's also what I liked about him. Then my friend told me that she didn't like his type of hair (my type of hair) that much. Then we started talking about guys.

Me - You date Whites guys then ?
