The scene where Eric Roberts' mafia connect has him against the fence right before they whoop his ass makes me cringe. It wasn't even the kiss that did it, it was Eric Roberts overacting.

yup, he's fukkin ridiculous in it but i couldn't imagine anyone else playing it.. he's so over the top compared to Rourke it balances it out.. plus Eric Roberts would have been on coke so heavy i think he was probably actually like that at all times.

I recently watched Rumble Fish as well. I went into the movie expecting another Outsiders and was terribly disappointed. I feel like it went no where and The Motorcycle Boy was a fukking weirdo.
