well if you've never seen a lynch film, prepare yourself for some weirdness. actually blue velvet has a pretty straight forward storyline unlike some of his other movies.

on the contrary, i'm a big lynch fan. just never got around to watching blue velvet or finishing twin peaks. eraserhead and mulholland drive are two of my favorite films of all time though.

I didn't know Lynch directed Dune until just re-watching it recently. It really explained a lot of shyt about why the movie is so god damn fukking creepy. The part where the leader of the Harkonnens turns that thing on that slave boys chest that made all of his blood come out and he just like bathed in that shyt.. was fukking :merchant:

Mickey Rourke and Eric Roberts (he's especially over the top in one scene) are great in this.
"dey took my tum Chalie!"

one of my favorite movies.
me and my cousin used to get made watch this, Bronx Tale and Juice from my older cousin/his brother heavy... putting everybody on and thinking we'd be on the come up ourselves.

speaking of Mickey Rourke...the popcorn scene in Diner

blue velvet. typical david lynch weird shyt.

remember thinking i'd hate this movie when i first watched...loved it.
the scene where the guys singing Roy Orbinsons In Dreams is just  yet so confusingly great.. infact that sums up the whole movie.

The scene where Eric Roberts' mafia connect has him against the fence right before they whoop his ass makes me cringe. It wasn't even the kiss that did it, it was Eric Roberts overacting. :merchant:
