Good ass question

I'd say onion right now. It goes well with so many things and can mixed with a lot of different flavors. Very versatile. Can be crunchy or tender...

Easy asf to cook too.

Yeah, onion is a good one.

I gotta go with the potato for it's versatility.

You can cook it a thousand ways, or turn it into vodka. You can put a few of them in a burlap sack and make yourself a weapon.
You can't go wrong with some sauteed spinach but damm dude almost closed the thread reminding us where vodka comes from

Tomatoes.

You can have the raw and crispy fresh on burgers, salads, tacos, etc.

You can have them stewed with rice or chili

You can have then fire-roasted with barbeque or other cuts of meat

You can have them sauced on pizza or pasta or any other italian food

Low-key they're an essential component of most Indian, Chinese, and Middle Eastern food

And they're one of the healthiest vegetables out there with lycopene, potassium, beta carotene, antioxidants, and other vitamins

Broccoli, spinach, and onions all up there too.
The Tomato’s is a fruit:troll:

But you know what they say. Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad.:ehh:
