Yo man you not lying. Ironically Hellfire was the least dark sounding track. The Gates is some dark shyt. Having to justify his humanity to God and being rejected at the Gates of heaven and being sent sent to hell.

:ohlawd: this jawn right'chea is so beautiful one of those late night cold Autumn nights, I played this song out, the story telling:lupe:. This is a dark album one of those albums you don't bring out unless you in a dark place because if you do you go back to the place that had you playing it in the first place :heh:

Man that whole album is a personal classic. I heard it would have cost Kno 3 million + to clear all of the samples and they didnt make one dime off of it. Makes you wonder how many other albums like this exist sitting on shelves due to clearance issues never to be heard from record companies. We almost didnt get A Piece of Strange.

The one thing I can say about this album is that it's a concept album done masterfully. So many layers upon layers of hidden messages and a story that follows from the intro to the amazing close out track. The Gates/Hellfire was an amazing transition, but Beautiful Girl/Inhale though:wow:. You have a good weed track that gives off positive vibes, but once you inhale so does the prison that comes with that puff leading into "Brain Cell" which breaks down the prison of the mind.

fukk...that album is something special:mjcry:.

That's what true artist do, they say fukk it and put their art out, knowing they ain't getting paid....The Production, Sequencing, Mixing, Placements is A1, Kno vision and production had the album played like a Movie, this is a personal favorite of mines also.....3 Million in sample clearance? Damn!
