Ron Browz is the definition of music that didn't age well. "Arab Money", "Pop Champagne" and "Jumpin Out The Window" were all hot/hit songs when they came out, that not only sound of that era, but worse now than they did then.

Ya'll always criticize Nas's beat selection, but he got the best Ron Browz beats and it's several producers far greater than Ron that has given Nas their best.
He gave banks a heater with beamer Benz and Bently too

I wouldn't say the corniest, but if this was given to Gucci Mane (whom it sounds like it was made for tbh)) or someone it wouldn't have gotten the reception it did lol. nikkas dikkride anything Kendrick jumps on.
Kendrick is also a better fukking rapper than Gucci for a reason obviously :mjlol:

This whole Eminem power ballad era produced some of the worse shyt ever and it seems like everyone in the pop rap scene was trying to do one of these :snoop:

I would say that trend started with T.I.'s Paper Trail with songs like "Live Your Life". Big anthemic, stadium production featuring a Pop singer. Jay Z's Blueprint 3 followed this formula too with "Run This Town". Then we got B.o.B with "Airplanes" featuring the girl from Paramore, which ushered in the garbage Alex Da Kid era. Then Em's Recovery dropped.

Never knew he did that beat. Now I remember him giving bangers to G-Unit as a whole.
Yeah was recorded before 50 was even on aftermath/shady. Life's on the line and wanksta both released before the deal, life's on the line video was shot before and wanksta video was shot not long after the ink dried coz it was already popping in the st. What up gangsta was the other which is why Game looked Goofy claiming he wrote it for 50 after those reference tracks 50 made for Game leaked.

Which was worse: the Ron Browz era or Alex Da Kid era?

I got Alex Da Kid. Dude was easily a contender for WOAT producer.

Ex girlfriend was an em fan(Red Flag within itself)so Alex da kid by FAR🤣

It was like listening to a complete song of a 20 second febreeze commercial..
