The only thing I’d drop a full $60 for if it was built right for a legit ppv is Austin/Brock but that window passed 10 years ago. The Punk/Austin buildup and promos would be 100x better than the actual match itself so I’d feel no need to buy it.

Rock vs Brock is probably the biggest match they could book today with Rock being the mainstream monster superstar that he is and Brock being the MMA legitimized monster combatant.

When you talk about Hogan/Rock it’s really about icon passing the torch to another icon at wrestlemania, so Cena already had that with Rock before. (Icon in the sense of crossover appeal not icon like Undertaker being a carnie icon with his undefeated streak). To that end, Jawn is beginning his crossover transition out to Hollywood so really the way they built things it would have to be either Brock or Roman versus Cena with a good year long build for it to successful, otherwise it’s just another PPV match.
