For all those not in the know a NIPR computer is an unclassified computer controlled by the govt in a unclassified environment. There are no thumbdrives allowed to be put in those PCs.

Yeah, if you're in most parts of Brooklyn you can get by on 50k assuming you don't ball out on the weekends or live beyond your means. It also doesn't hurt if you have a roommate (friends, siblings or s/o's). You can live pretty well til you make that come up.
