2K4 was trash, you could only call basic plays. Everything about that game outside of the graphics was butchered

2k11 had me hooked for the longest. The only one that I played more was probably 2k1 because it came with my Dreamcast....

2k11 was so good that 2k12 was one of only a few years i skipped going back to the original 2k

2k18 is up there for me because i love using the all time teams. Evem though you could download them onto the previous few 2kgames it was nice to get official all time rosters. They just gotta get Marcus Camby on there next year

They just had everything right in that one. I felt that was the last 2K where you can legit play defense. If you lost it was because you got out played not because of any gimmicks

Having all those MJ's really made it something special. Growing up MJ was never in any basketball game. So when I saw he was in this i was like

I put a ton of hours into 2k11, definitely my favorite.

2k14 is a close second though, best modding experience. It's still being actively modded today.

2k12 was good on PC too.

I'm really liking 2k18 on PC, especially with the progress mod creators have gained creating cyberfaces for the upcoming draft.

These were worse than their predecessors.

2k18 is the best gameplay-wise.

You showed your age on that son. But I agree Live 98 was the GOAT basketball game for a long time. Double Dribble was overrated tho, Tecmo NBA was waaaaay better.
