When it comes to beef outside of ground beef (hamburgers) & ribs I'm not to familiar with steak :yeshrug:.

I know, know a man is supposed to know his steaks but growing up I've never been much of a fan, and when I've eaten it I never really knew what kind I was eating to know the difference between the cuts, just figured all steak was the same :manny:.

I'm asking this because me and my wife got invited to go out with our friends (who're married as well) to a steak restaurant next Saturday but I don't know what's the best kind to order sooo..

Which one is the best cut & how "done" should it be to get alot of flavor?

I used to grill ribeye caps from Costco every other day at my house for like 3 months straight before I turned vegetarian. That's the best cut of meat. Heard Costco stopped selling this cut of meat which is sad. Go find a place that sells ribeye caps and try it for yourself. Just salt and pepper cooked to medium rare and your in heaven.

If u eat ur steak more done than medium ur opinion is shyt on this matter.

That said...My neighbor for years post college was a butcher and we'd be eating filet mignon on sandwiches....that's how spoiled I used to be. Dude taught me how to make a steak. I dont regularly eat stake... my only one in the past 3 months was 2 weeks ago in Chicago at Shula's. Had a Porterhouse that was damn near $100. That shyt was bomb. My favorite is 3...

  1. Filet Mignon
  2. Tomahawk Ribeye
  3. Porterhouse
