True. Older folks are more familiar with message boards than reddit. It's an interface we kind of grew up with.

I recently started checking reddit and configured a lot of the subreddits as my homepage and it's really good. Also has the option to check what's currently trending very easily and step out of that space.

Message boards came out when we were in college. Its an old concept before twitter and fb. Its quite literally a medium from our era. chat rooms died out but messageboards still exist.
