I like spike lee's visual style too.

He's got a couple different techniques he likes to use such as squeezing the frame and that still shot thing he does a lot where he will put a character at the center of a screen and have everything move around him

Spirited Away. I honestly can't remember seeing an animated movie that was that visually jarring. The crazy thing is that, that shyt was made in 2002, yet is still visually stunning 18 years later.
Yeah we did a Ghibli Studio marathon at the crib with some friends a few years back. Their animation is gorgeous.

Ancient Magus Bride was pretty too.
