What's in your blu-ray collection?

Amazon has been having some amazing blurays sales lately. Ever since setting up my movie room I've really upped my Blu-ray purchasing.

Blu-ray picture and audio quality is so unmatched. Really the only way to go when building a media collection right now. I have a feeling it may turn into a niche industry.

Why spend all that money on blu-rays when your movie room is so basic? Invest that money in proper Av equipment.

Yup. Some titles come in dope packages with extras like the digipack/digibook format.

Downloading is cool and all, but I want everything that comes with the release not just the movie.


Got M, Seven Samurai, and Dawn of the Dead yesterday on sale at B&N. Also got my copy of the japanese release of Night of the Living Dead yesterday.

just downloaded finding nemo 3d retail... that dont drop till december

Say it again....say it again. Man I only have 1 actual Blu Ray and thats The Dark Knight. Everything else I have sitting on an 8 terabyte server. No need for me to name what movies I have because I have it all. Including all the "extras" that come with the retail disc.

If you got the space then do you, but I don't.

Like I mentioned before, some titles have bonus material not on the disc. Plus it's easier to loan a movie to a friend or bring over to someone's crib with physical media.

Also, can you actually find every title that's been released?

3d movies are around 50gb.... 2d around 25-50 depending on extras....

if you got allot of space and unlimited internet why now

I do cop some blurays tho... that dark knight rises will be copped first day

Yeah I don't even have enough space for my little collection

ditto...shyt my blu ray player is in my computer lol..although ive just gotten into downloading blu ray rips this year..avatar 1080 blu ray rip still remains the damndest thing ive ever watched on my flat screen..had me and my gf like it was so vivid...when i have some time im going to be replacing dvd rips of past movies i downloaded with those blu ray rips...i upgraded my FIOS package to the quantum shyt i need to take advantage of the speeds
