That's not necessarily accurate. They only got two to three copies of all titles that are not Dunkirk or Prestige so it may not register. You're going to have to drive to the store yourself. My store didn't show having any last night but they had all 7 at openingWait these shyts aren't even showing up as available at my Best Buy. Guess I'm not getting them
Yeah you were right. I just saw this post but I drove there anyway because that shyt did not seem right. Ended up getting everything but BB (been getting bad reviews on quality) and The Prestige.

i got a 4k player with watchmen for christmas, is it just me or does 4k not look like a vast improvement over blu ray? It might be because i have an earlier 4k tv or something, but imagine my reaction being like
does the hdmi cable also have to be 4k? im not sure if theres a vast difference between 30 fps and 60fps

You need a 2.1.HDMI cable. I got a 4k player for black Friday and even regular blurays look better when upscaled.
It really depends on your TV. It also depends on the transfer. If your TV has weak or no HDR, you might not experience a huge difference. HDR is the biggest difference maker with UHD. Colors will pop.
It will also take some time for your eyes to adjust to everything as odd as that sounds. It's not the jump that VHS to DVD or DVD to blu was but as you get used to watching shyt in 4K and watch the same thing in 1080 it'll look ugly.
Did yours come with the cable? Mine didnt, I dont think they sell 2.1 cables yet
My bad I meant 2.0, 2.1 is supposed to be coming out soon. My DVD player (which costed a grip) did not come with any HDMI cable. They probably did this to future proof it since new cables are coming out soon.
So 18 gbps, does that make all the difference? I mean its just a wire
Well the dvd player states it's required for HDR. I even got a ps4 pro, and before I got the 2.0 cable there were bugs when playing some HDR games.
