Keep thinking about taxi driver. But as good as it is I really don’t enjoy watching it if that makes any sense. I’ve seen it 2 or 3x and I think I’m good

I get it. Like one of those "one and done" flicks.

I only bought it to go along with the savings BB had. Saved 10 bucks buying those 4.

Been years since I've seen it. Should pop it in soon.

I didn't grab anything mainly because I'm impatient and got everything I wanted Day 1, but also saving for the Nolan 4k releases.

I like it but it does have that alt right feel to it. There is another movie from the 70s that has that undertone but I can't think of the title.

I didn’t even pick up on that. I think any movie with a white guy going all vigilante, especially during that period, will feel that way now because the alt right has co opted the symbolism and characters. Effectively they’ve managed to corrupt stuff like taxi driver which doesn’t even glamorize Bickle’s actions or make him seem like a good guy.

For me it’s just tough cause that shyt ain’t pleasant lol. I don’t need to see it anymore although the soundtrack is tough as hell
