Dwight is a buffoon if he leaves. It is a storied franchise tha attracts the best free agents and gives him the best chance to win. plus he can pursue stuff in Hollywood. The lakers are championship contenders every few years

what has Dwight Howard done this year that warrants him being important enough to tell management to trade Kobe?

What?

Kobe is and has been the Lakers for 15 years! Howard hasn't done squat for this organization like Kobe has. I don't think Dwight stays here anyway after this season. If we somehow become a lottery pick, I'm positive we can get some quality players.

The Magic sucked last year with Dwight (even before his injury) and the Lakers suck this year with Dwight. Maybe Dwight just isn't as good as people make him out to be.

:whoa:

The Magic sucked with Dwight last year?:usure:

The Magic were 33-21 with Dwight last year (.611 win %) and without him were only 4-8 (.250 win %) :manny:

Matter of fact, the Magic had the 7th best record in the NBA (3rd in the East) when Dwight sat out the rest of the season

Also, Dwight is STILL the best Center in the NBA and still a top 10 player in the NBA.

Nobody can dispute that:yeshrug:

his bullshyt has blinded people to that though. he still is the best c in the league...and i don't think he's 100% yet. if you wanna penalize him because that position is weak as fukk, that's a fair point, no doubt...but it doesn't change the fact.

that said, kobe's going nowhere. i don't think he wants to leave and i don't think management would ever want to move him. he will be the face/leader/gunner of that team until he retires.

There's no way Kobe is going anywhere at the expense of Dwight. I just can't see that happening unless he himself wanted a trade.

the worst part is you believe yourself.. a dude that shoots up to 43 FG a game is not worried about his scoring title :comeon: i mean :childplease:

last game's formula is the winning formula for them... this aint 08-09.. Kobe dont have wanna superstars ready to sacrifice their bodies catching his rebounds..he is playing with other superstars that could run the offense.

he needs to adapt.. at this point.. he need to maintain.

You still did not answer my question... if he wanted to win the scoring title so bad then why didn't he do it last year when he had the opportunity to win it?

Last game's formula? Kobe played similar in that game to how he was playing earlier in the season. The only difference was his teammates were making shots and the entire team played defense.

How about you watch the games before you talk shyt? :pachaha:

he was shooting poorly by the end.. i think he even went 3 for 23 or some ish

he missed it not by much.

edit... are you saying kobe usually only takes 10 fg per game? and goes to the foul line only 3 times?

i demand you post your IQ

So you want the best player on the team and one of the best players in the league to shoot the ball less than Ron Artest? :dwillhuh:

He only shot the ball 10 times because his teammates made their shots.

Kobe cares more about the scoring title then helping his team win a ring. :ehh:

No point in debating with someone who already made up their mind and does not even watch the games.

This is not a new "formula" for the Lakers. Kobe has played like that plenty of times this year with the team not getting positive results and his teammates not making their shots.
