Superstar
That if they wanna keep him, they gotta get rid of kobe?
lets face it, Dwight don't wanna walk away from 20 mil and I'm sure hes lovin the city of la. he just wants kobe gone so he can be his fun loving self and can be da # 1 option.
laker's management was in a similar (to a lesser extent ofcourse) position before with kobe and shaq
shaq still had some years (and championships) left in him but they got rid of him and chose kobe (who was a free agent) because of their bickering feud and because kobe was younger.
Dwight's young, he's a "superstar" he's marketable, and he's the only legit young piece that the lakers can build on in the future. if he leaves and they get nothing they r fukked. kobe has some years left in him but so did shaq.
kobe got that no trade cause but if lakers management came to him asking him to waive I think he probably would out of anger
will history repeat itself?
