laker's management was in a similar (to a lesser extent ofcourse) position before with kobe and shaq

shaq still had some years (and championships) left in him but they got rid of him and chose kobe (who was a free agent) because of their bickering feud and because kobe was younger.



Dwight's young, he's a "superstar" he's marketable, and he's the only legit young piece that the lakers can build on in the future. if he leaves and they get nothing they r fukked. kobe has some years left in him but so did shaq.

kobe got that no trade cause but if lakers management came to him asking him to waive I think he probably would out of anger

last game's formula is the winning formula for them... this aint 08-09.. Kobe dont have wanna superstars ready to sacrifice their bodies catching his rebounds..he is playing with other superstars that could run the offense.

The Magic sucked last year with Dwight (even before his injury) and the Lakers suck this year with Dwight. Maybe Dwight just isn't as good as people make him out to be. People keep acting like he is going to wake up and morph into dominant all around big. He is an eight year vet he pretty much is what he is. He might get a little better offensively but I can't see him ever dominating games offensively on a regular basis.

Yep.

He's a low-post player with a very limited offensive repertoire who got by on his athleticism, which is seemingly gone, making him look ... average. He'll get his boards, but he isn't going to dominate (imo) consistently.
