I checked the price on the puts and it was so high I didn’t think it was worth the risk. Had to drop $6-700 minimum for what I was seeing.

at a certain point volume gets too low for that to work. The thing with options is they have to deliver real shares. They cant just shift DTCC numbers around on a spreadsheet like what happens when you buy through a broker.
