Defensive schemes are getting better

I like it because running backs have to be the focal point of the offense again no more getting a mid running back and passing the ball 40+ times a game when the bears, packers and eagles paid for swift,Jacobs and Barkley everyone who didn't understand football though all three teams shouldn't have paid for a running back but the running game is back to being the focus point of the offense again

Old school football byke. :wow:

Aughts football might’ve been a worse r product. :lupe:

The strategy in football is what makes it a superior to basketball. There's more to dissect and the in game commentary has more depth. NFL Live will break down plays and have YouTube channels like QB School really getting into mechanics and game tape.

I used to be NBA over NFL but that started to change when analytics started to take over. Games started to devolve into 3 point contests and I miss when you had post players, mid range shooting, and 3 point specialists. Now everyone is chucking 3's, defense is barely played, and stars sit out prime time games.

The overall culture of the NBA is too hot take and social media focused. It's dumbed down to the point where I don't even watch any pre/post game shows. The discussions are so shallow. Then you have media members who act like they're on payroll for stars. Ex players get media gigs and can't hide their bias. There's constant bickering between the older players and the younger generation. It's just messy and maybe too youth driven.

All these things are why I don't get engaged with basketball until the playoffs start. Football has me locked in weekly.
Heavy on the former player/commentator bias. NFL former player-commentators detatch their biased way better.

Peak NBA (2010s) was better than anything the NFL put out including the regular season. Nowadays the NFL regular season is way better than the NBA regular season but the NBA playoffs is still better than the NFL as a whole.
The nba playoffs was terrible

You have to honestly be delusional to say the NBA

I didn’t even watch the NBA playoffs last year, not a single game

I gotta go with the NBA.
When i watch the NFL i enjoy it, but i don't really enjoy it anymore than a local highschool football game or watching my college play football.
Its literally the exact same level of enjoyment at all levels.

But with the NBA, its clearly a more entertaining product than college basketball and highschool.

I didn’t grow up heavy into sports but when I was a kid I would have said the NBA just because I had relatives who were more into basketball.

As I’ve gotten older I’ve grown to enjoy the NFL.

Years ago I couldn’t tell you all the teams names, who was in what division or conference and only knew a handful of QB names.

Now I pay attention and watch it.

I don’t think much about the NBA until the playoffs.

Also, people are only mad at the NBA and the 3-point shooting because the Celts been kicking ass

:duck:

They just won it all last season so unless people only started mentioning teams shooting too many 3's last year I don't know how you believe this.

Live or on TV? If live and you have great seats, NBA. In all other cases I think NFL is better to watch.
This how I feel, tho for big games in person is hard to beat cuz shyt be shaking in a stadium.

I remember getting floor seats and taking my mom and she was just in awe of how Lebron was moving on court like Dwade but he was like Haslem size..

I cant get into regular season NBA, especially with NFL season going on. But for chill environment or date night NBA game in air conditioned environment is better.. They both have their plac but give me CFB over BOTH!

I think having great seats at sporting events is the best experience. You lose some of the speed of the game on TV.

Forgot to add - the amount of fouls. I believe the Raptors game tonight had 99 free throws.
