Come on dawg ppl only started smelling a rat around the 2nd kos/shields fight when he had stopped being exciting as early as when he beat serra. Woodley ain't even getting a grace period and it's arguable he's pulling a gsp standing

GSP was getting straight clowned for that Dan Hardy fight which was a good year before both of those fights you mentioned. Was afraid to stand with Hardy and just held him down for 5 rounds didn't even land any real GnP if I recall correctly

I am sorry but I am just not sold on sterling, he also seems cultrally lost When the UFC tried to sell barao as some goat I was always like meh. His fall fills me with apathy .

Volkan is something else, hard not to be a fan I just wish Johnson was around to test him. Feel like we've seen this story before but the div needs this.

Don't know how I feel about the ww title fight. But at the end of the day Tyron did what he was suppose to do and there is no smoke without fire. This isn't the 1st time maia has been in a fight that was infamous for being boring but no one mentions it


Evinger kind of surprised me or maybe cyborg was just trying to look less masculine by taking it easy either way happy she's finally in the ufc.

As for the main Jones surprised me, I thought the fight would go more like how the 2nd round was shaping up but JJ just showed what greatness is all about.

I like how this was the 1st event in a while with forward progress, no more fake LHW champion. Whiny fans finally got their maia in a title fight and he was nullified. No more fake champion in GDR. The noise of Manuwa getting a title was rectified. Ozemar has arrived. And Barao and Cormier's careers are in tatters



Ps why has Gustaffson got some claim to the title again? 0-2 in title fights already and lost to the top 3 fighters?

Those were just hisses it wasn't until the fights I mentioned was it clear he was some safety first fighter that would never pull the trigger even if the opportunity was there. That is just too many allowances

I fell asleep on cyborgs fight. I take it that she won. Also missed Woodley vs Maia. Judging by the comments, I didn't miss much.

However someone in the thread mentioned that Bisping vs GSP is back on.



Why? Whitaker went through the two top contenders (Jacare & Romero) to get the interim belt and instead of fighting Bisping to the unify he gets shelved for a retired fighter.

I was pissed as early as serra because he was wrestling a smaller fighter abd avoiding the standup for dear life after saying he was going to KO him. But we ain't talking about us we are talking about when the fans unanimously decided GSP was a bore. And even though they knew what he was capable of he was still getting good gates and over 600k buys and was barely booed. Wood isn't even allowed to have 2 stinkers in a row

Maybe because out of all Jones's fights Gustaffson looked the closest to beating him.

I thought Gustafson won that fight but if a fight goes to decision and the fight is close, the champion gets the rub.

Plus the fact if DC cleaned out the division and Jones made him cry literally, then there's no-one in the division is good enough to be in the ring with Jones

I think he has convinced himself that he was better than Jones. Much like that kick he didn't see this coming.

Gus should have to fight Volkan. However in the minds of fans and the ufc, the fight sticks out because the seemingly invincible Jones was nearly beaten.

Volkan vs Gus may just materialise though.
