The next debate will be a Townhall meeting on Domestic and Foreign Policy. All these topics will be discussed again. And in a townhall format, Romney will not be able to escape and gloss over the tough questions. The fact is he damn near went against his entire platform again Romney laid his cards on the table he's already being dissected.

In that format it will muh more foreign policy focused. Additionally the ability to refute the other side will generally be more limited if the candidate is answering a submitted question, the general public will toss softballs.

He went against the platform but the uninformed voter isn't going to pick up on that. People like us have already decided. That small portion of the electorate isn't sticking around for Ezra Klein to call BS on Mittens.

Obama: "He want's to stop regulations on Wall St and cut Seseme St" (If Obama said that last night, it would of been the Biggest Ether)

Lavar Burton: "Romney is destroying our Kids with PBS attack"

LeVar Burton OUTRAGED Over Mitt Romney's PBS Attack -- He's Destroying Our Children | TMZ.com

I can't believe Romney really went after one of the most celebrated educational stations in history. SMH.

lol...this is the type of sensationalist garbage that drives me nuts about the left.

Mitt is going to kill Big Bird!

No. No he's not. PBS TV does not exist solely on government funding. They have their own revenue sources. Federal Funding is a small portion. Sesame Street is a multibillion dollar industry all by itself. I wonder when the day will come when liberals understand that just because government doesn't pay for something doesn't mean that thing goes away. No one wants to get rid of PBS. It is simply not a wise allocation of taxpayer funds, considering all of the alternatives available.

Back in the day, sure it made sense to have a PBS. With the internet, DVD's, Nickelodeon....I think we could do without paying for PBS. Its logic.

When Obama gets home, Bill Clinton needs to be waiting there like Nick Fury telling him to step his fukking game UP.

This has always been the problem with Obama: He's just NOT a fighter. He doesn't like to get dirty, doesn't like to kill.

Jim Lehrer: I had a dream I was at a debate last night. Some rich white Cadillac salesman told me he wanted to get rid of me & Big Bird.

If I'm the DNC, Im cutting a commercial NOW wherein children are informed that Romney is a man who wants to get rid of Big Bird and Elmo

Getting rid of PBS is a Racism dog whistle from back in the day. You see PBS has always helped minority children, there is nothing negative anyone could say about PBS so I was in complete shock that Romney went out his way to Diss PBS, I'm glad everyone apart of the PBS Generation is coming out defending it today. Yes the Big Bird jokes are funny but the reality is a lot of people grew up and learn things from Sesame St and Reading Rainbow. The fact Romney wants to soften Regulations on Wall St. and Gas Giants like Exxon while cutting PBS let's you know what he's about.

because there are a million other alternatives to it not funded by taxpayer money. Yeah back in the day growing up when we didnt have cable we had PBS and the news stations. Now? You cant even have TV without a cable package.

it was just a small example...its not even about PBS. Regardless I believe the federal government gives PBS around 500 Million a year which is just a fraction of their operating budget. If the public wants it they can choose to donate to them.

If PBS went away sesame Street would still be on tv. The sensationalism is hysterical.
