i just started watching the debate; and i dont know. Obama is not really speaking with confidence, compared to romney. I dont think romney has any idea what he;s gonna do in office but he answers are succinct, to the point, and spoken with confidence. the avg american could care less about specifics; all they care about in these debates are who sounds better and who has the better sound bites.

that just the way Obama talks. he can't verbalize his thoughts that well. if he pre-writes them out he can give a great speech but he's not a dynamic speaker. also Obama has a record he has to defend. all Romney has to do it attack and say his plan will make things better. Romney is total offense here he's throwing haymakers all over the place and nothing more. Obama has to play defense as well as attack when he can.

like i said Obama can't really beat this guy in a debate. the best he can hope for is that people say he did ok and didn't make any blunders. the polls are probably gonna tighten a bit after these debates.
