Yeah probably :francis:

WWE talent literally were public saying their precautions are a temperature check and asking if you feel okay. Until this person tested positive, they hadn't actually tested anyone this entire time they've been running shows at the PC. And if it's an NXT person, that probably means all the people at Full Sail were exposed as well. You gotta wonder who it was and if they'll be punished for daring to catch a virus.

Curious what AEW is doing as far as checks. They have an advantage with Daily's Place being an open air environment as opposed to being fully indoors

My post was never about WWE not being irresponsible or disputing any of that. I let y’all argue about all that.

My post was pointing out specifically that employees catching covid and the show going on is now the new normal

that’s it. It’s always wild to me that TSC does this. Yall nikkas be replying to arguments that were never there lol..

Vince had a dead Owen Hart scooped off the mat and kept the show going. We already know what he about
Lol this is gonna happen

Your post was making light of the situation, and laughing about people being upset. I explained to you why people were upset and how this situation is different than athletes catching COVID at other sporting events.

You’re the person that made up their own narrative for whatever reason. This whole thread was people discussing the lack of responsibility on the WWE’s part, and how poor the procedures they had in place were. Nobody in here was mad at the fact that someone tested positive, they were mad at how it was handled and the safeguards that weren’t put in place. If the company was taking the appropriate measures to keep people safe and somebody happened to catch it this would be a non-story.

COVID-19 rapid testing for everyone at every show and temperature checks for everyone at every show. According to the AEW production crew's union, there are also doing mandatory mask coverings and social distancing, but that may only be for when people are off camera (though we have seen people wearing masks on camera at Dynamite) or have been relaxed over time.

Point is, AEW's not perfect at all, but they're doing a hell of a lot more than WWE's doing. Hell, UFC's doing substantially more than WWE at this point and Dana didn't (and, really, still doesn't) want to do anything either.

Reckless ass, irresponsible ass company. :martin: Gambling with the health of the people who generate their profits just because they never quite learned how to diversify their ways to make money.

And couldn't even be bothered to tell the talent first. You know, the people who are the most likely to catch the shyt due to proximity. Nah, somehow Ryan Satin got first word of this.

Lmao

I’m not laughing at anyone being upset. You’re taking my reply all the way out of the context that was meant.

My “lol this is gonna happen” was in reference to a WWE employee getting covid. That’s IT. My entire post was in reference to a WWE employee getting covid.

Not whether y’all should be upset

Not whether Vince was negligent or not (which history obviously proves he is)

Not anything, other than a WWE employee being diagnosed with covid

I’m not about to argue with you tho, because there literally is no argument. I don’t have an opposing side

so you got it pal :sas2:

this stan war shyt is corny. I expect it in film room/arcade and obviously the coli.. we didn't need it in TSC

It really is. Whether you like WWE or not, sitting on that information and not letting talent know is crazy. Having people sign waivers letting you off the hook when you don't know how wide the exposure was to the person who had it is crazy. And then having an old man who literally almost died not that long ago out there is crazy.

This is all needlessly reckless at a time when no one's going to tune out because you took extra precautions.

They got a bunch of people with no masks and gloves just that NHL glass
And wrestlers with no protection but only the ref wears gloves
all comes off as pointless

Eh, I think that it all boils down to personal choice. The only people that I show empathy really for is the crew. Everyone else had a choice rather or not they wanted to go to the show. The talent had a choice to perform or sit at home. The “fans” had a choice to perform or not. I’m sure the WWE, AEW, and UFC told their performance what the deal is and they still choose to perform. Whether the talent performs due to personal choice, money, or risking losing their spot, they ultimately make that final call. To me, it’s no different than people going to parties or bars now. You can only mitigate risk and minimize your exposure. You can’t avoid it. No need to make this a big story. This was bound to happen since the world reopened. Just know that this won’t be the last time either

You’re missing the point. The E withheld the information from its workers, and the majority found out when we did. The workers were already filming the show. That’s carelessness.

Ok I missed that part. Yep, thats fukked up. My point still stands, but absolutely no excuse the people in that building was not informed before the media found out. WWE deserves all the negative press/shame that it gets

On the first page you all were talking about what talent should do or what talent needs to realize but why is all the onus on talent here? What's it going to take for the rest of you to stop playing along? Watching along? I still see a lot of WWE show threads. A lot of people in those threads. Particularly the PPV threads.

I get it, it's hard to disconnect from this bullshyt, even after EVERYTHING that's gone on/is going on. So that said how do you expect the talent to throw their livelihoods out the window if we as a collective forum can't stop watching the show. Not even a good show mind you. Made even worse by the lack of a REAL crowd. This is the best and easiest time to bail out of the train.
