I just got put on to his music and I'm currently listening to his entire catalog.... son is nice with a J Cole vibe to me... Production on his joints is dope....

Probably the artist whose music I've liked the most for close to 8 years + now
Plus if you read between the lines in some of Odd's bars and interviews, there was a period around Rock Creek Park when a certain J. Cole reached out to him, they worked together on music, none of it came out, but somehow some of Odd's style stayed.
The fact that OP thought of J. Cole when he listened to Oddisee isn't a coincidence

hes dope, im in the minority on his newer stuff but im glad he gets good reviews and can tour on his own

Oddisee’s been one of my favourite artists since 2011/2012. He’s super consistent and he’s continually expanding his sound as a producer. He’s also one of the best live shows I’ve seen.
