The real answer is Nitro cause it’s not on air anymore and basically peaked in 96/97.

But....Raw has largely been stagnant and unwatchable since 2009, and from 2006-2008, there were some absolute horrific moments. The thing is, horrific moments is honesty better than having a show that develops pure apathy.

Bruh, this shyt needs to be said. That shyt was absolutely horrible. It became so repetitive and predictable that it reduced weekly consumption to the act of merely watching out of habit.

A potential spinoff thread might be "What was the worst 2-3 year span of the major wrestling programs (Raw, Nitro, Impact, etc.)?" I'd make it, but I've forgotten way too much content. :mjcry:

I know people don’t wanna accept it.....

But it’s RAW

Like yea Nitro had like 2 or 3 bad years in the end

But off the strength of longevity...... RAW has lapped and super succeeded RAW, TNA and etc

Like a poster above said.... we going on 15+ years

Nitro was terrible in it's last days but people still talk about 2000 Nitro to this day, people struggle to name 5 memorable Raw moments in the past 5 years.

In what context though?

I guess a separate discussion would be if it's better to be remembered two decades on for being garbage, or not remembered five years on for being boring

Aew seems worse than both. Had entire twitter laughing at them. It's crazy they would see that and not change a thing, how did wrestling get so stale and unoriginal in their thinking.

the bolded wouldve never happened.

also, WCW was getting good again when it was sold. plus they were about re-vamp again anyway.

and they had a young aj styles about to take off, were signing rob van dam and prolly more ecw guys. they wouldve had most of the TNA roster as well, as TNA wouldve never existed.

This isn’t true. Everybody was laughing at the failed explosion, then everybody was raving at Baker/Thunder Rosa, while at the same time the WWE one-up’s that laughter with Braun’s choo choo trains and the Orton/Alexa mess

For it being horrible but I'd rather sit through a 3 hour train wreck than a boring 3 hour wrestling show.

Basically reiterating my post. 09-present day WWE is basically the cure to insomnia. It’s such a blur during that during. Guest Host era, People Power, the Bellas eating up tv time, Ryder bring a loser, Michael Cole bring a focus, and the back end of the 3rd (??) DX reunion. I have second hand embarrassment even typing that.

If you actually go back and watch the last Nitro they ended on the highest note possible. The company was rebounding creatively.

From Hogans turn to its closing they probably had about 1 and half bad years worth of television. That’s not bad at all. It was just so much bad stuff at once it’s lived in infamy.
