I been saying dudes in the 70's and 80's had wild training regimes/splits and got big, but magazines and over analysing some aspects of body building has made it seem like you have to follow a guideline to build muscle!
Do what you want to do, fukk men's health and all that shyt. Eat well, train when you want and how you want.

High frequency training is legit for people who can handle it. I used to work out 7 times a day. Obviously it wasn't as intense every single day, but I was still doing some sort of training. Your body adapts to it and u will see gains. I'm cutting right now and slowly getting back into it. July I'll probably be doing some form of lifting everyday.
What was a typical day like training 7 times?
It'd be something like
M: Legs
T: Chest
W: Back
TH: Shoulders
F: Arms/Forearms/Traps/Weak Areas
S: Legs
SU: Chest

As u can see, my major bodyparts were still getting 4-5 days off for recovery. True, they getting worked a little on other days but if u make sure when u doing say DB Rows, u using your BACK to pick up the weight and not your biceps, u should be good to go. U gotta make sure u get your sleep and hitting ur macros too. This was when I was a serious gym rat and u couldn't keep me out.
