that team was really bad, so Kobe would have to carry their asses. Kobe got a key to do whatever he wants, so he would just drop 40 every night and will have so many 50+ games. 41min is crazy high, but Kobe is a dawg and he would have to play 40+ minutes to keep the playoff hopes alive.

KD is one of the best pure scorers ever.

Kobe's 05-06 season is the greatest scoring season in NBA history when adjusted for pace. If he could average 35ppg in that slow low possession better defense era, I have no doubt he would average AT LEAST 45ppg in this era.

My guess would be: 45 PPG 6 RPG 5 APG on 47% shooting.

He wouldn't even need to develop into a better 3-point shooter. He shot 35% from 3 in 2005-06. That's still a pretty good 3pt%. He would just take a lot more now and with more possessions, he would also take more 2pt FGs.

All in all, his attempts would increase which would lead to more points. And its my opinion his FG% would also improve because defense is a joke now.
