I was in the 4th or 5th grade at that time. It was wild. Our teacher rolled in a damn tv in the class for us to watch the verdict. It was a nearly all black school, so everyone was jumping up happy.
I was in elementary school. The class was listening to the verdict on the radio. It was me and one other black kid, and we both started to cheer when the verdict was read
I was in middle school and we watched pretty much the whole trial in class. Our cac female teacher stormed outta the room cussing when the verdict dropped.
My whole family was cheering. My dad don’t smile often during that time but he was cheesing. My mom was crying tears of joy. You couldn’t tell anybody in that house shyt. I was in a somewhat mixed school then. The teachers were bitter af.
Was in middle school, probably 7th grade, and I was glad we won since we got fukked over from Rodney King. It was just get back from that...I didn't care if he did it or not.
