These aren’t “allegations” we’re just throwing around, the reference tracks are out there right now on YouTube you can pull up for proof.
This “everybody does it” nonsense is bullshyt. Some MC’s take pride in their pens like Scarface, who turned down Jay-Z’s offer to write a hit for him, some care only about how the music itself comes out and don’t mind having shyt written for them, like Kanye West, some may have a line or two thrown their way but mostly write their own shyt like some members of the Wu-Tang, it is what it is. But if you’ve got a nikka writing entire verses for you then you can’t EVER be the greatest or be in contention for the greatest. Nas, Jay, Lupe, Kendrick, Biggie, Rakim, KRS, ANYONE whose ever been seriously considered for the position of the GOAT is writing their own lyrics and has proof of such. Kendrick was basically TDE’s secret Ghostwriter whilst being one of the biggest stars on the planet. The nikka wrote Jay Rock’s Money Trees verse (people slid that under the rug) in FULL.
