But Taylor is pretty much acknowledged as a pop act.

People act like Drake is a real rapper still despite him being exposed by Puff's bottom bytch

Drake is still a rapper though. Ghostwriting never disqualified anyone from being rapper. It does, however, disqualify him from being a lyricist. There's a difference. Lyricism is purely about the words. Rapping is far more than the words and you could still be a rapper, even a good rapper without having written. It is something that separates Dre from Diddy.

In the moment, Cole. Hell, I think down the line it will be Cole because Drake kept making music and got bigger. He'll never be considered a GOAT from a purist standpoint, but he came out with scratches.

Cole can NEVER make a song about how deadly his pen is or how he's the best, ever again. That's the majority of his music. Him and Kendrick MAY be cool after this, but I can't see an upward or a stable trajectory after this, for him.

His label is going to take a hit as a result. Sucks for the rest of his team.

Not that I care about either of these cause it's more egregious shyt in the name of the "culture" fans let slide but ghostwriting is the worse. To do that then claim you're the best MC don't sit right with me but I guess I'm different. Same folks that shrug at it didn't give a shyt about William Roberts being a CO and now a caricature on social media.
