Cole was worse.

With ghostwriters, you still have to be able to rap or else you just sound like you're reading off paper. Its more to rapping than lyrics. If not Quentin Miller wouldn't need a Drake. Still, and I'll say it again, Drake wasn't elite IMO even before he got exposed with writers.

It’s definitely recency bias but it’s gotta be Cole because Drake was able to successfully ignore it by simply continuing to put out music. He’s never gonna be considered the greatest rapper because of his “help” but he seems to have taken that L in stride.

Cole’s entire best rapper persona has been called into question and it’s not getting any better. The entire internet has seemingly turned on him and it’s 100% self inflicted.

Drake's ghostwriters.

Can't believe anyone takes him serious as a MC. He's, at best, the Taylor Swift of hip hop. But I bet she writes her own lyrics from time to time at least.

But Cole is pretty embarrassing too. Never was a fan really. Probably the most embarrassing rap battle moment since Canibus pulled out a note pad.

I guess Cole taking the "J Clone" wannabe Canibus thing to new heights. :yeshrug:
A majority of these artists don’t write their songs. Swift has multiple writing camps just like all the big names

But Taylor is pretty much acknowledged as a pop act.

People act like Drake is a real rapper still despite him being exposed by Puff's bottom bytch

Every big name uses writers it just depends to what extent they do. I been to a writing camp for baby and thug. The writers won’t write the full song usually just a hook or a couple lines for them but every major act uses a writer. EVERYBODY
