When it comes down to it we have no idea how much any rapper writes. We know a lot of songs are given to rappers with “insert verse about this here” At the very least I’m sure no one’s above using some slick lines thrown to them by their crew.
Cole’s behavior is right there on video for all to see for eternity.

Can't believe anyone takes him serious as a MC. He's, at best, the Taylor Swift of hip hop. But I bet she writes her own lyrics from time to time at least.

Whether that "apology" is misunderstood or not, the apology is worse.
Ghostwriters. They tell that corny dude what to say, when to do interviews, who to team up with to stay afloat, everything he does is board approved.
