I remember when the 360 slim came out and people couldn't find it, the funny thing is that Target had a whole backroom filled with them. That's why I love Target because they get disrespected so much, that people don't bother looking to them when trying to find things. I lucked out on the PS5. I bought it at Gamestop and with my PS4 Pro trade in I only had to pay $200.

A tie between Xbox series x and PS5

PS5 is the only one I have had trouble getting. I didn't have a problem with the Xbox or Xbox 360 when they dropped. Skipped the One and Series X. PS1, PS2, PS3 and PS4 I got used. I either had the Xbox, Xbox 360 or was PC gaming. The PS5 is my first brand new, out of the box, PlayStation console, and I had actually given up looking when I got the Best Buy notification at 5am.

the wii early on…I was able to preorder two PS5s early on…even tho I had to resort to going on ebay to get a third one, if I was a little more vigilant I could’ve still copped a bundle but I didn’t want to sit around waiting for one to release and wanted it ASAP…the wii is the only console that I had difficulty getting at one point…but after a few months it wasn’t an issue…as a matter of fact same thing with the switch…I slept on it initially so I had a hard time getting one a few months later…but the shortage was short-lived

Took me til PS3 slim came out to get one cause I couldn't afford the OG fat joint. I bought a fat PS3 for cheap off a friend but that one kept giving me the YLOD. So I didn't really have a working PS3 until around 2010.

Edit: PS2 was a bytch to find also, didn't get one until late 2001.
God held me down and let me get the Amazon pre-order of the PS5 though

PS5, and it's not even close. I had PS4, PS3 and PS2 at launch relatively easy. however PS2 was kinda tricky to find initially.
