According to the snyderverse fans (and for the record, i love ben in the role and wouldnt be mad if he got his own flick) he didnt have a drinking problem and WB made him say that as a reason to leave…

Have mad hatter play up shyt on a comedic level then boom unveil a brand new joker. One that come off as unhuman as possible. Face and body deformed or some shyt. Just pure evil. Make him the only one that laughs even though he is a sadistic in its purest form.
