I think they should keep the same energy with somebody like 2 face or Hugo Strange, but the studio isn’t going to resist going all in with the Joker. Even though at he slow build will make more money in the long run.

I liked the serial killer angle they took with Riddler so I would be cool with them continuing that vibe with Prof. Pyg in the sequel and then end the trilogy with Joker as the villain.

The Weird Side
Ben’s alcoholism killed that
According to the snyderverse fans (and for the record, i love ben in the role and wouldnt be mad if he got his own flick) he didnt have a drinking problem and WB made him say that as a reason to leave…

id go either hush or freeze with court of owls…keep joker in arkham and feature him in a scene or two max. Even have riddler in arkham.

also I want harvey dent in these films…but (if its a trilogy) not two face. If they decide to go for 5 movies or whatever then eventually he can be two face. But harvy is definitely needed after the first film.

you'll never get Clayface, Manbat or any supernatural type villian in Matt Reeve's trilogy

all your hopes of such things died when you guys decided you didn't like Snyder and Batfleck's vision

now you must suffer for your lack of faith in the father Snyder

Hallowed be thy name
What does any of this have to do with what Reeves artistically chooses to show in his adaptation? :dwillhuh:
