that’s being a little unfair to Kelce imo but either way I had so much love for Kittle and Buck so whichever one we had to lose was gonna sting. I just think that keeping the DLine at an elite level did more for us then keeping George.

but...if Deebo, George and Jimmy can stay healthy with Aiyuk, the offense could be a problem. @South Paw saw that that last year when we should have swept his squad so with more weapons and a healthy Bosa and an improved Kinlaw we’ll definitely be back in the hunt next year. The key is health.

and I wouldn’t even use the first round pick on a quarterback. Kap wasn’t a first rounder. Just get someone with the physical tools that can sit for a year or two behind Jimmy.
shyt I think Hill has everyone so shook so that helps Kelce out. Not down playing is abilities. I just don't think TE is worth it if you have to decide over a great defensive player.

Yeah they definitely would have swept Seattle if everyone is healthy. But that's not the case. It's like 49ers fan are really waking up finally and seeing that getting a bunch of injury prone players is retarded. I saw this coming. Wasn't even a surprise this shyt happened due to the oft injured players signed and drafted.

If they don't clean it up and get rid of most of them Niners will have repeat seasons like this.

Both of these responses are mad disappointing :russ: :francis:

I wanted to pin it on player talent but your entire defense is on IR so it can't be just that.
Tbh since Detroit is so bad he'll definitely need some time to turn it around. It just seems like Detroit and the Browns could never get it right.

Karma is a bytch for firing Caldwell. They actually looked worse with Patricia. Then they don't draft or sign players that great too. Even a good coach would need 5 years to really be consistent and would have too have the ability to pick his own players.

I get that. But there is no way I'm giving TE all that money over a stud like Buckner or Warner. shyt TE job is primarily to block. You can't tell me you can't find one that can block good and not have to pay him top dollar.
I feel but the Niners haven’t found that TE and we’re a run first team we need all the good blocking we can get. Hopefully Charlie Warner pans out so GK doesn’t have to block on big plays and he can be a playmaker more in those situations.

as dysfunctional as the lions are they give plenty of rope to their staff. Too much at times.

We kept Millen, Patricia and Quinn (I was in denial) too long. The only reason they got rid of Caldwell is because they wanted to accommodate the new GM. They actually advocated Quinn keep Caldwell but wouldn’t force him too.

As long as Saleh comes in with the ability to pick his GM or the GM that is chosen wants him as the coach he’ll have the time and resources to improve.

The ultimatum for the duo that got fired was to play meaningful games in December. They didn’t even need to make the playoffs in year four to keep their jobs. Just flirt with it. :heh:

Good point, but yeah it goes back to the decision making in the front office. There were some bad picks to HC. Ya'll can have Saleh. I want Raheem Morris. He'll have our D looking way better than Saleh did. He would have called a better call on third and 15 in the super bowl. :stopitslime:

I think people forget the Niners were a run first team because they had a trash WR crew. Kittle was literally the best WR on the team as a TE, that's not a good thing. Just imagine if the Niners did what they were supposed to do and got at least one elite WR and have Deebo on the other side. People forget the Jimmy's play got way better than Emanuel Sanders got there. Most teams that have a great WR crew have an average TE that can block and be that third down option. I really think the Niners are going to be in a Jimmy Graham situation if they keep Kittle's for a long period of time.

Not in the league long enough to state that. That's down right asinine to say he's elite when so many players have come in the league and have been one year wonders. He could be really good, but way too early to tell.
This also a cherry picked player from the PAC 12 where some Niner fans say see see he's from the PAC 12! You're wrong about PAC 12 players even though the overwhelming majority have been trash in the NFL the past decade. :unimpressed:

Defensive player I meant over a TE. I'm pretty sure you knew what I the hell I meant.

Yeah you can keep that all pro TE that can't stay on the field:mjlol:
breh I already said him being injured is a big problem, not sure what else you want me to say :manny: if he keeps missing games then it was a bad extension, what can I say ?

This is anti-tampering :heh:

I hope Juice cashes out in free agency, but preferably not here
Juice is another guy who is kinda vital to this offense and elite at his position, but commands too much money for the position. At least TE can always be a constant skill threat when you put him out wide.

Juice is the man but he’s only on the field 40% of the time. It’s one thing to pay $5M+ a year to a FB when we had a lot of cap space in 2017. Doing it again when the cap is dropping isn’t a good idea
