What's up with Saleh? What changed in 2018, looks like they were trying to fire him in 2017. Player talent? Team philosophy? An extra year of experience? Better run organization?

Fans wanted him out his first two seasons, but I dont believe he was ever in danger of being fired.

-Gained more experience this was his first DC job

-Moved to the wide 9 alignment in 2019

-Improved talent, but even then tons of injuries this year to star players and the defense is still performing well.

-Good communicator and motivator players love him.

Thanks breh. I'm hopeful we get a defensive coordinator turned head coach to flip our defense. I love watching teams with good defenses.

Naw. Niner fans said Kittle was way more important to sign:martin:

Buckner is a beast. Bosa gets a lot of well deserved credit but Buckner was what made that line elite last year. Before teams could just double him but with Bosa and Ford in the mix they had to pick their poison.

I love Kittle but I think losing him would’ve hurt less then losing Buck. And that’s even with Kinlaw having a pretty good year.

Bruh. A TE doesn't make or break your team. I would have told his corn shucking ass to kick rocks.:russ:

Buckner and Warner are way more important. That's The staple of a championship team. Not Armstead and Kittle:gucci:

The only knock on kittle is him being injury prone. He's a game changer otherwise :manny:

I don't think anyone was crazy about giving Armstead that guap after a career year. Or Ward, for that matter. We all knew Buck was huge for us.

The shyttiest thing is we really haven't groomed up any better safeties that we currently have. Harris is more of a LB, I had high hopes for T Moore, but that dude makes pretty big mistakes a lot, you can't have your last defender take bad angles and turn 15 yard gains into 40 yard gains. Especially in this defense that is more bend not break than a turnover-forcing d

This is why you don't pay TE top money when you have other needs.

No offense depends on a TE ass their main targets. That's just dumb.

Buckner’s an All Pro for a reason. Him and Bosa were the best players for us in the SB and I wish there was a way for us to keep our All Pros together

That said, trading Buck for the 13th overall pick was always gonna hurt in the short term and be better long term. It led to getting Kinlaw *and* Aiyuk, who already look like foundational pieces. I’m probably by myself on this one, but I’m making that trade every time

KC paid their TE, and their TE is the main target in their offense. Kittle is a cornerstone of this run game and he opens up the pass game too. I have zero issues paying him or Kelce or Waller that money.

I disagree with Kittle being injuring prone. But I think because of his size and how beastly he be getting cats be “taking the shots” or be trynna bring that pain to him.

Like when Buddha took his leg and hyperextended it. I don’t care how durable one can be.... no one not getting injured from that shot.

Too many times Kittle is in situations where he getting ganged tackled and cats wrapping him up, twisting him up and then some random dude comes with a cheap shot

Us fans sometimes rag on him being a bit stubborn, but hes shown to be very flexible and great at addressing issues, I think he will get a deserved HC job

His main thing is mostly to build a system that everyone understands, and he values high IQ players. Our D was decimated by injuries, but next man up would come up and it worked out for most of the time. The only exception was when we literally had to trot out a bum off the street at corner.

He first tried to do seattle-style cover 3 single high safety look and that did not work well, plus run D was an issue. Once the dline was shored up, we switched off that and started to mix up shyt, and once everyone knew their role, D started rolling. It helps to have a beast D line and a very good dline coach, as well as a great LB duo, but the fact that the D doesnt depend on just talent should be a sign of good coaching. Plus Dline got fukked by injuries and Buck departure this year, and they still held it down against many teams.

Ill miss this bald headed goofy fukk :pachaha:

His style of play is conductive to injuries, it is what it is. Just like Deebo.

Or when jimmy threw that checkdown and it was way high and he left kittle out there to.take a low shot to the knees

I think that was the injury that took him out

Dumb. Kelce is open due to their WR core. Which the Niners can't match.

Please name one TE that made or breaked a team. I'll take defense over a TE any day. That is why part of the reason why the Niners are fukked up more now.
