Noodles, unc ben rice, tortilla, canned or bagged meats/fish, burritos, sandwiches,sausages. This is all i think think of right now. No snacks. Main corse meal typically eaten around dinner time.

I watched a dude on YouTube make some prison food. This nikka was saving the chip bags to reuse

On fried chicken days, sneak that shyt back or pay nikkas to bring back for you like I did and make dips, spreads, pots or whatever you want to call them.
You can get bell peppers, onions, seasonings, and cheese thru your chow hall connect. One of them nikkas working the kitchen always stealing, one was my right hand in there so…
They sell taco soft shells too so a lot of burritos and shyt. Better burritos than the majority I had in the world on my soul
had Mexicans making me shyt with fake ass jail brand kook aid…sweet spicy and flames…
Some cats never went to chow, I’d go to chow on certain days and just smash the protein ( was always on the yard lifting and needed the macros ) unless it was cold cuts because god knows wtf that shyt was

They generally have more time to exercise. The debate is if they are healthier. Of course some folks aren't eating much better on the outside. Yet another debate.
Till this day I don't know how can someone fukk up cold cuts the way jails and prisons do. It doesn't make any fukking sense, like they have to be fukking it up on purpose. Not sure if it’s different in other states but In my state for the first couple days they only feed you dry cheese sandwiches and cartons of ice tea
That pretty much instantly conditions you to reevaluate what good food is and the hunger will have you fiendin for slices of cheese and shyt like that
So chips and tuna may sound bad on paper but in an environment where ppl are trying finesse you for 8 oz of tea you will quickly appreciate that extra variety
