The influx of redneck hillbilly shows is horrible. Deadliest catch was and still is amazing but everything else is trash including their wack spin off like lobster wars and all that other dumb shyt.

Discovery was doing the redneck shyt years ago with Monster Garage, American Chopper, Biker Build-off...
It has turn to shyt like the Discovery Channel. I used to love all those reenactment movies about Pompei,
Nostradamus, the end of the world, what would happen if Mount Rushmore erupted, and how America was build.

yea they always had some tight shows. The World Without Oil, The World Without People etc.It has turn to shyt like the Discovery Channel. i think that same woman that ran science channel got fired and history channel hired her. I remember for at least half of the year for the entire day save for 30 minutes, the ENTIRE DAILY SCHEDULE was nothing but How Its Made reruns.

It's 323 for comcast in HD.
But what's worse about the history channel is now they are making either all spinoffa of their two main shows. Pawn stars and American pockets. For pawn stats they have the one spinoff American restoration and just added a second for the car expert they use.
Also they have a knockoff pawn stars called Cajun pawn stars. And thy have a knockoff American pickers. And another annoying thing is the blatant subway product placement they are doing in mid-show. I mean
Yeah H2 is the new crack for all your history documentary needs, the original History sold out during prime time for ratings. Reality TV centered around rednecks and their love of dangerously stupid jobs are what drive the network now. Sometimes you can find some quality documentaries during the daytime, but you'd have to search and dvr for them. I still watch the channel a lot and there are still some quality shows on there (Decoded, American Pickers, Top Gear, The Universe, Ancient Discoveries, etc.)
