TDE happened to him:mjlol:
Son knows he's a benchwarmer on a team who's starting 5 consists of:
Kendrick Lamar
K. Dot
Duckworth
Kendrick Lamar
Kendrick Lamar
Notice how every artist who is not named Kendrick has declined in quality since signing
Yea but when Kendrick was an upandcoming artist TDE and Black Hippies was the place to be?:rudy:

I don't think he's hooked on drugs the way that people are inferring, I think it's that he fell down a rabbit hole that a lot of weed smokers fall into:

Conspiracy theories
Weed culture
"Tripping" off of other stuff (shrooms, DMT etc.)

It's like he started smoking weed late in life (I have no evidence of this or nor am I implying it), but he became one of those "Have you ever tried weed maaaaan?!" cats and is all about it and the culture around it in a way that's dulled his music, content, and character.

Before/around Control System look back at his catalogue and the references to this kinda stuff wasn't there, then all of a sudden between Control System and These Days he became a paranoid weed-head:

Bohemian Grove
Terrorist Threats
Pineal Gland
Illuminate
Tree of Life
Dub Sac
Twact
Sapoisexual

He went from a "Regular nikka" to rap Doug Benson/Joe Rogan.

Before any of them had official albums Ab was actually my fav member of TDE. Maybe not the best rapper of the bunch, but I enjoyed his music more, now I'm not looking forward to what's next if it's anything like These Days in content or sound-wise.

Album wise, it used to seem like Kendrick would drop some shyt, then Soul would try and top the shyt.

Then, These Days dropped.....

But honestly, it sounded like he started realizing how much money he made and then started rapping about his life with the money he was making.

Which, if you were a major fan of his from longterm to Control System, didn't sound like him at all. It sounded like he sold out.

Like for real... why was Ross on his album?

:mjpls: that rick ross song was actually one of the best songs on these days, way better than most of the other trash on that album.
