he just wasn't the san.fran.fakkit.friendly type.........can't have your head coach bringing down fire & brimstone on your courtside season ticket holders*
I think the real difference between Kerr's Warriors and Jackson's is that Kerr lucked into finding Draymond. Even Kerr was planning to ride David Lee until his injury gave Draymond a chance to play. That really unlocked the Warriors as we know them today. I think Jackson gets a bad rap in that ergard.I dont think he underperformed per se, the team was still just not quite there.
I mean when Luke Walton and Mike Brown took thw Warriors didnt miss a beat. You can say its Kerrs system, but he had no prior coaching experience and Steph and Klay were already bombing like crazy under Mark Jackson
Are they super hostile towards religious people or super hostile towards religious people who basically say they should burn in hell for being gay?In Jackson's case, it was the bible thumping that has made him the odd man out. I think the current commissioner Silver is gay, and the current media climate is LBGT friendly. A person of faith could live in the current sports environment, but not an over the top dude like Jackson.
I agree that personal beliefs shouldn't enter professional space, but some segments of gay community, perhaps out of revenge for being rejected by parents/church, are super hostile towards religious people. to the extent that now, they are the ones in the closet. Imagine that.
If Mark Jackson is that bad of a person why did ESPN re-hire him days after his firing?
Any evidence of this happening?Because you don't have to worry about him trying to heal players with anointed oil from the announcing area.
Any evidence of this happening?
A credible link would suffice.I can only go by what Sports Illustrated reported. If you are looking for home video that I haven't shared with the public yet I'm sorry to disappoint you.
Steph confirmed it out his own mouthAny evidence of this happening?
Link? I heard of Jackson's wife praying for his ankle but even Skip Bayless did thatSteph confirmed it out his own mouth
It’s all in the twitter thread
Like I said, it was his wife that did it.
Like I said, it was his wife that did it.
You agree with mike pence huhI think the underperforming as a coach with a team that won ring the following year is reason number one
Reason number two is the bible thumping. MJ's overtly religious tone puts him at odds with bay area culture, for sure.....and modern day sports culture in general.
Mike Pence said something recently that I agree with " people talking the loudest about tolerance have NO tolerance for those with traditional christian values".
Steph went to Jackson's church on his own time It's not like it happened in the locker room. Be surprised someone prays over you at Church brehsIt was his church, nothing took place there that was outside of his control. Blaming the crazy shyt on his wife is a cop out. If his wife thought it was a good idea to have snakes brought out and draped around his ankle and the nikka was bit who do you think would get the blame? The wife or the person who is the head coach of the team, pastor of the church, and the one who brought him there to begin with?
