That’s a lie lol not the long benching ones but they got the rack ones. Only goes up to 60 though
Those are the preloaded ones for arm workouts. I mean a free barbell you can put plates on. There's no way to squat, bench, or dead with free weights. PF is fine if you don't care about those lifts, but inadequate if you do. DB's capped at 75's also.

Sounds you are new. I can't speak for everyone but my biggest issue with PF is that it's a gym designed to make people feel good about going to the gym and not about accomplishing goals. No free weights or squat racks. DBs only go up to 90 lbs. I believe. And truthfully, it feels more like a hangout spot than a real gym but that's just my opinion.

Why PF get such a bad rep

^These.

Actual folks that lift don't normally refer to the "rack ones" as barbells, they're almost always talking about a 45 lb. Olympic bar. :skip:

PF gets a bad rap because it's actually not a place that's serious about fitness. Any fitness center that regularly gives away pizza/Tootsie rolls/bagels while not providing free weights, openly clowns lifters in their ads, and has an alarm to deter folks from grunting or dropping weights isn't a place legit lifters can take seriously.

PF is basically a participation ribbon that the Fats and Weaks can collect to make them feel better about working out with low intensity.

Yeah I’m just about fitness and mobility I ain’t a power lifter or heavy lifter I guess. Been moving up weight with dumbs but yeah…i wish they had full barbell in PF. I miss the Y for stuff like that and the hex bars or whatever the station thing you lift up is called

Nah not at all I just lift weights bruh lol I don’t get into terms and all that. I’m serious about lifting but it’s not my life. I’m more about my nutrition and fitness. When it comes to lifting for my body I know what I need to do but all the technicals and shyt ehh whatever just give me weight and I will make it work where I want it to.

I just haven’t fam lol

I know heavy weight light reps can keep me shredded/cut but I just feel like shyt would be unproductive or turn me bulky.
Easiest way to not be bulky is to just eat the same amount you do now. Nothing wrong with what you're doing now though.

I will warn you though; if you start going after PRs with the heavier stuff, it is addictive.

If you aren’t eating cals in a consistent surplus you won’t be gaining slabs of muscle

nah I can’t do too many calories. Trying to cut right now actually. Just getting this protein back up. I had a rough last couple months and got off track but I’m back on now somewhat.

Started new job and now I’m sick so still delayed a little but by 2nd week of January I should be back where I wanna be.

Gearing up for Ramadan.
