Dexter is kinda turning into that. In the earlier seasons there was better themes...storylines...cinematography...the details actally mattered. Since the ending of season 4 they just been trying to have shock moments...and good characters get killed off too easily...and its been pretty sloppy. Dexter used to have this dark humor...but they pretty much got rid of that. It's still an entertaining show...but the quality is def not up to par with the first 4 seasons.

Entourage as well.

i'll just copy a post i made on fb the other night..

Law & Order used to be great. You'd see a crime, the investigation, pretrial deals with good lawyers, a trial and a verdict. All in an hour. They kept the whole process real with realistic stories. Sometimes the person would get off with it. Sometimes not. You never knew what would happen.

Nowadays this shyt is horrible. I've literally seen 4 people in the station being interviewed. Accuse of rape and being threatened with 25 to life. Not a single one has a lawyer. Not a single one is under arrest. They have no charges pending. They answer all questions and snitch on the next for no deal.

Finally a guy says lawyer. We never hear nor see him again. They catch some hooker who happens to be a terrorist. That not even homeland security knew about. Cause they was in on the case too.. Seriously. No lawyer again. She tells everything to the cops. Which helps stop a terrorist mid mission.. Dom Dom. Credits.

Damn shame

yeah not going to spoil anything for you but there is a certain character that gets knifed in season 4.Once that happens the show radically changes for the worse..
