I'll also co sign that Distiant Relatives album.....That last Nas album was very important as well.

Dude...Pac is dead. Before Pac left he said that we arent ready for a Black president. His message isnt updated. You cant go foward using out of date information. Pac doesnt have any messages for this current era we are in where we do have a Black president. Saigon and Nas on the other hand are alive and are qualified to make quality albums with substance for the masses.

Alotta nikkas have a message, if you don't know how to move the people with your message you can't be comparable to Pac,there's nikkas who push a "message" with their music more than Pac.....but none of they 15 tracks move u like one Pac song did,or one Chuck D song did....not every nikka is a great speaker who can move people...sum preachers collection plates stay full bcuz they can preach, while others who are more righteous is starvin...sum nikkas lead millions like Hitler and Obama:obama:...sum lead a small group in they basement.....not every nikka can be Martin Luther King, and really all MLK had wuz the speaking part down...imagine if he could make California Luv:childplease: woulda been a rap for these crackas by 1961

The problem with everything u just said is that we already know that with a budget U can be forcefed on the people to be whatever title u want..,..This is why people were saying Wayne was the greatest alive at one point....This is why people were saying TI was the king of the south. I cant really co sign what u just said because we all know the bigger the budget the bigger the noise u can make.....I'm just now hearing Slaughterhouse get rotation on NY radio....why? because of that Shady record budget. Prior to that the only thing u heard from Slaughterhouse on radio was Buddens "Pump It Up" in DJ mixes.....Thats it. Pac was signed to a major label....and then sold the most records when he jumped on the hottest rap label of the time.....Lets be realistic...Pacs message (which was mixed with social awarness and ignorance) was given a big budget and good marketing and thats why he had a lot of peoples attention. Saigon with a big budget would make a big difference.

Difference is LIl Wayne and T.I wuz hot as fuk in the streets and mainstream when people they were calling theyself king of the south, and best rapper alive....many agreed cuz it wuz true to many,or at least had a ring of truth to it to a lot of people...u think Slaughterhouse can just start callin theyself the kings of hiphop when there's no ring of truth to it,and people will go along with it:wtb:?u can pay ur way onto a radio station if u want but the people decide in the end...Saigon would be wise to get his buzz up in the streets first...from what I've heard he's great at nuthing, brings mostly rehashed perspectives of messages we heard already...his album he worked on for about a decade wuz "eehh" and forgettable...we saw what pac did in 3 days musically ,forget about the promo:mjpls:

I'd say something by Wayne unfortunately, but it's more his persona and style on mixtapes and features as opposed to his albums. Aside from that, I think the answer is EASILY College Dropout. Yes, it's been that long since an important hip hop album drop. That was the last time the underground and mainstream stopped and listened and this current crops of emcees all have some of that in their DNA.

Last important rapper is probably Jay Electronica. Last important album was maybe Watch the Throne.

I was actually gonna go back even farther than this (either Blueprint, Stillmatic, or Marshall Mathers LP.), but yeah, I wouldn't mind if someone said CD either.

Saigon would be wise to get his buzz up in the streets first...from what I've heard he's great at nuthing, brings mostly rehashed perspectives of messages we heard already...

which solo rapper made a whole song and video dedicated to uniting Crips and Bloods again? Which rapper from NY came out first before his man Tru Life came out and spoke out against the Bloods and Crips epidemic that spread in NYC and still stands by that till this day? Which rapper actually shot people and did years in prison only to dedicate their debut album to denouncing the street influence and prison? Which rapper was put on the shelf by a major label because he refused to make negative music and then wouldnt budge to change his music because he really believed in the message so he lost the deal and chose a more independent route even tho the budget wasnt the same just for the sake of getting the positive message out? Which rapper will big up a industry friend like Kanye and then turn around and point out that what him and Kim K is doing is a fake and only for publicity and say that because its the turth regardless if Kanye is his friend?

I dont see any rappers doing what Saigon does....But i'll let u tell it.
