Thread was dumb from jump.I think you read the thread wrong. Those games aren’t first party or really even exclusive beyond a timed window. Deathloop is Microsoft first party.

...how is the thread dumb? It's clear if the cheque is big enough, Playstation will put it on Gamepass. They aren't any different than any other publisher.
The real answer to your dumb ass thread is already answered
Deathloop and Gohstwire Tokyo will be day one Gamepass releases. They might fukk around and put it on Gamepass PC same day they come out as “Sony exclusives”
The MLB meddled in this. It wasn't Sony's idea to make an Xbox game....how is the thread dumb? It's clear if the cheque is big enough, Playstation will put it on Gamepass. They aren't any different than any other publisher.

You must have missed the announcement. The last time MLB extended the deal this was added to it and it wasn't just specified to be Xbox but additional platforms. Even Nintendo commented on it.You have no idea if this is true. M$'s pockets are deep, maybe deep enough to get more first party exclusives out of Sony on gamepass?
MLB is the publisher on Xbox. Yeah you wanna use MLBs license then you pay them for it and they give you the terms. Seems like MLB wanted the game on more than just Playstation seeing as it's the only baseball game worth anything.Do publishers have to pay the developer/IP owner also? It seems like I’m not sure if sony has to pay the MLB for the license....who then have to pay sony to publish it on another platform, who then have to share the splits with mlb/ms/sony
Insomniac was a 3rd party at the time. That's no longer the case.I mean insomniac has already stepped out so ...
